LPA MONITORING
PAGASA monitors three LPAs: One inside PAR, two outside with varying potentials

MANILA, Philippines – In its 10 AM update on social media, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said it has been monitoring three Low Pressure Areas (LPAs) affecting or near the country since 8 AM.
One LPA, identified as LPA 07c, remains inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR). This weather disturbance currently has a “low” potential of developing into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.
Meanwhile, a new LPA, designated as 07d, is being monitored outside PAR. This LPA has a “medium” potential of developing into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.
Additionally, the LPA that is a remnant of Tropical Depression Danas continues to be monitored outside PAR. This particular LPA is deemed “unlikely” to develop into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.
