Tech CEO caught on Coldplay ‘Kiss Cam’ with coworker, sparks cheating allegations

The viral moment: Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and Chief People Officer Kristin Cabot caught in an embrace at a Coldplay concert in Boston.

A viral moment at a Coldplay concert in Boston has ignited a firestorm of cheating allegations after Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and his company’s Chief People Officer Kristin Cabot were caught in an embrace on the Jumbotron’s “kiss cam.” The awkward encounter, captured in a TikTok video, shows the pair quickly separating in apparent embarrassment, drawing widespread online speculation.

The footage, shared by TikTok user @instaagrace, features Coldplay frontman Chris Martin remarking, “Oh, look at these two,” as the camera focused on Byron and Cabot. Byron, who had his arms wrapped around Cabot, swiftly released her, while Cabot covered her face with her hands. Byron then crouched down, attempting to hide from the camera’s gaze as the two quickly moved away from their spot. Martin playfully quipped, “Oh, what…either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy,” as the pair made their hasty exit.

Andy Byron has served as CEO of Astronomer, a New York City-based data orchestration platform, since 2023. Kristin Cabot joined the company as Chief People Officer nine months ago. Following the incident, The Sun reported that Cabot allegedly scrubbed her second surname, Thornby, which was previously in brackets on her social media profiles.

The cringeworthy clip quickly went viral on Thursday, prompting hundreds of online users to make jokes about the awkward situation and speculate about a possible affair between the two executives, suggesting they may be cheating on their respective spouses.
