Know Before You Go: Precinct finder now online for May 12 Elections

MANILA, Philippines—The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) has activated its Precinct Finder website ahead of the May 12, 2025 midterm elections, enabling millions of Filipino voters to verify their polling information online. The platform officially went live on April 23.

Accessible at precinctfinder.comelec.gov.ph, the tool allows users to check their assigned polling place by inputting their full name, date of birth, and the area where the voter is registered. COMELEC launched the initiative to reduce confusion on election day and streamline the voting process, especially for those who have recently updated their voter records.

The 2025 general election will determine all 317 members of the House of Representatives and 12 of the 24 senators who will comprise the 20th Congress of the Philippines. Local elections will also be held to fill executive and legislative positions in every province, city, and municipality across the country.

This midterm vote comes at the halfway point of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s six-year term and is expected to serve as a national barometer of his administration’s performance. Voter turnout is projected to be high, particularly in key battleground provinces. —ABN
